Huntsville's Own High School Sweethearts

Kara and Lee met their freshman year of high school. Can it get any sweeter than that? I love a good small town love story. Don't we all?

When Kara reached out to me to schedule her wedding and engagement portraits I was so excited to have the opportunity to document their love story! Although they're currently living in College Station, Texas where Kara attended Texas A&M University, knowing how much of a role this small town played in their story; it only made sense to bring them home for their engagement session and capture the mix of stunning countryside and their small town love!

We enjoyed a pasture full of cattle mooing at us from the get go when we pulled up and they mistook us for dinner time, followed by a beautiful sunset with people cheering them on during the photos on a dirt road. After making our way to the small town square, Kara revealed to me Huntsville's best kept secret! The cutest, and super narrow bricked alleyway with adorable string lights down the corridor, what a magical place I'll never forget!

I'm so honored to be their photographer, and I can't wait to photograph their wedding this fall. Congratulations again Kara + Lee, y'all are Huntsville's sweetest home town love story I know!
